Fat Tuesday

Did you know The throwing of the bead necklaces started in the early 1920's in the "Rex Parade" were they threw Inexpensive Glass bead Necklaces. Traditional Bead Colors for Mardi Gras are Purple, Green and Gold. Purple Represents Justice, Green is a Symbol for Faith and Gold resembles Power. Little Food for thought on this Fat Tuesday
